Wheel locks

I sold a G8 Gt with the sport package and my customer wants a set of wheel locks. Does anyone have an idea as to where I can get them. My parts department has no clue.

ARE YOU SHI##$%G ME, its just a wheel nut, with a fancy end, buy them in sets of 4, 1 for each wheel, and a locking nut that goes in the wheel wrench to get the locking ones off.

we stokc tons of them.....any car parts store will have them, If Canada, crappy tire, NAPA, US...PEPboys, anywhere that sells automotive will have them. Go outside and steal themn off a caddy, they come with them do they not, cant remember, been so long since I sold a caddy

Re: Wheel locks

i got mine for my G5 from the pontiac dealer. i need to get a new set. i had a flat tire and the guy broke the key lock on my car. what a mess after that. took about 2 hours to get the tire off my car. so now 3 of my rims have the locks and 1 had just 5 normal lugs.

Slap them while you are at it, a good old backhand. And tell them to go sit in a corner with a dunce ap for the rest of the day.

Then do this. Seriously how could they have a job at a parts dept, if they dont know what a locking lug nut or wheel locks or whatever you want to call it, they should get the idea.

Re: Wheel locks

I thought it would be easy as well. Normally my parts guys are on the ball. They insist that they do not exist to fit the 19" wheel.

GM Parts and Accessories are no help as well. No wheel locks for the G8 available.

I tried going to Mcgard's website. No luck their because I have no clue as to the thread count and length. Same goes for autozone and Murrays who I called and they can not guarantee that they have what i need.

Any help would be appreciated.

I even googled holden wheel locks, holden accessories

no luck.

I just have a customer who paid sticker for her new car and wants a pair of wheel locks or it is a crappy CSI report for me.

Re: Wheel locks

We used a #17802466 on the G8 we set up today...it is a solid chrome nut...it doesn't match exactly...but our customer is OK with it!

The part# it calls for is#92190654...which I think is available ship-direct...
