Re: Traverse in Canada

I would expect pricing to be the same or less than the Outlook, so I have heard. I doubt GM will price it at the Acadia level as prices (and sales) of the Lambda's have dropped.

Acadia $36,495 vs. Traverse $34,655 for base FWD models.
That's almost 2 grand and there are customers who consider $2000 to be a bit of a differance.

Re: Traverse in Canada

Man vehicles in Canada are expensive! Entry-level model at 35 grand? Sheesh! Won't be convincing many Uplander customers to trade in! Not saying the Traverse isn't a vastly superior vehicle... but that's a steep price of entry.

Just checked... the Uplander starts at $24,390! That's a $10,000 difference! I know the Traverse isn't a minivan or meant to DIRECTLY replace the Uplander, but I would have hoped that many Uplander owners would migrate to the Traverse, GM's newest 7-passenger people-mover.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH! Just checked... the Trailblazer starts at $39,695!!! What the?!? I find that shocking!!! In that case the Traverse is an outright steal!!!

Trailblazer is done next year to pretty sure, so Travers will be the only choice, or Tahoe

For the Uplander you can pick them up for 18 or 19k now So that makes it even worse to try and convince people the Traverse is a better deal.
I did see one at the Chev dealer and the car looked great, but 34k... I would say it should be around 30k.
