So our H3 got stolen.....

....why am I laughing, well funny story, for the last 10 days we have had our MEGA SALE, every dealer in town gets together and goes to the multiplex, and well its crazy, anyhow on the last day at around 6pm we are moving allllll the cars back to the lot, so there is about say 35 people running around getting keys, moving cars and crap, and I am at the store parking them as they come over.......anyhow this goes on for about 5 hours. and Finally we get done.

WELL next morning the heli port calls and askes if we lost an H3, a yellow one to be exact, and we are like I dont know to tell ya the truth..so we look and ya its not in its spot. well, do ya know where it is....

YEP.

ITS ACROSS THE ROAD....

on the other side of the tracks no less

more pics in a sec......apparently while we were putting keys in everything, someone had the balls to just jump in and go with the flow and there was so many people moving cars, remember ALL the dealers are moving cars from the same place...no one even noticed...

They came about 3 km thru the bush making its OWN trail....and finally got hung up on a stump and some blow down...Not sure how we are getting it out, some of the local IClick off road guys...(namely ME and the other salesman)..offered to go recover it... I have to say, as a fellow off roader, I am VERY impressed how far this thing got thru the bush making its own trail. its was only a 5 banger

broke a mirror, flare, lots of scratches, and a door handle...inside is mint.

Dang I knew they were tough...but that poor thing. They must have been flying close to catch not only the mirror but the door handle. I hate to say it, but that is dang funny someone would have the stones to do that.

Stuff happens. A car hauler in my area unloaded a hot item, redesigned 1992 Suburban to get at some other cars right in front of the dealership. When he looked back, the Suburban was gone and never seen again.

Yup. At my local P/B/GMC dealer they were doing an E-test on a Viper Venom 800 (it failed miserably) and the E-test guy left the keys in it in the back lot. Someone drove off with it. It was soon recovered.

Re: So our H3 got stolen.....

When my dad was working at Norwood, an assembly line worker decided that he really wanted one of the Camaros...so when his shift ended, he went out to the parking lot, picked one out, and drove off.
Too bad he got stuck on the railroad tracks just outside the plant.

Reminds me of the broken down Viper I saw along the side of the rode with a Ford Ranger parked in front of it. The guy leaning against the Ranger was holding a large deer rifle to make sure the Viper wasn't going anywhere.
