Re: so Its showed up today.....

No, Mr/Ms Customer, we don't know why your new Cobalt uses oil like OPEC is having a meeting under the hood.

Mitsu EVO won't use a drop of oil if it's babied the first 500 miles. If it's not, you can't keep oil in it.

Re: so Its showed up today.....

I drove one at our dealer, guess you could say I drove it hard. Very fast, just like the Solstice GXP I've driven frequently, untill the info center said ECU reprogram and then I was only running about 200hp, whoops.

Love the A-pillar optional performance screen.

Torque steer is obviously a huge factor but it's still my favortie FWD car at the moment.

Re: so Its showed up today.....

I drove the first one we got a couple weeks ago. Didn't drive it too hard, drove it hard enough to realize it's not worth trading my SS/SC for it. Ran good, definitely noticed the turbo lag vs. the supcharger, of course. I also noticed the seats were a little harder although more supportive and the suspension seemed stiffer, granted it only had 5 miles on it too. Nice car overall though. I'd like to really DRIVE it, I drive mine hard and would like to compare.

Re: so Its showed up today.....

I sold a Solstice Gxp to a customer he came back 4 hours later asking for us to hide him. Short while later the highway patrol asked if we had sold a black car today. Yes we had why. Well it just out ran the officer clocked over 110. Love those GXP.

I'd buy from linton's dealer though. THAT is customer service

Re: so Its showed up today.....

I used to own a supercharged one. I was looking to get the turbo one when i got back from this deployment but then started looking into the G8 GT. Yeh I got swayed over to the Pontiac side. Defintely love those Cobalt SS's though.

I was the first person to drive my GTO, it had 0.2 miles on it when I test-drove it...the car had just come off the truck the day before. I sat there and watched the dealership take all the plastic wrapping off the car inside and out and get it ready to drive...and even then, I wasn't hard on it...I knew with 400 hp on tap and from reading about it and talking with other GTO owners what to expect.

You want to drive the car hard? Buy it yourself. It doesn't belong to you.

A little off-topic, but this is why I don't buy used motorcycles. My new ZX-14 had 0.1 miles on it when I bought it.

Re: so Its showed up today.....

I've never posted on this forum, but I had to respond this. Just because you have seen your car unwrapped and followed it around through the PDI process (which is quite annoying btw) doesn't mean you saw it as it got driven off the assembly line to the loading area (probably at a high rate of speed) or as it was unloaded at the shipping yard and then reloaded again and shipped to your dealer. I've seen cars that interior looks like someone rolled in mud and then rolled inside the car. It happens; get over it
