Is this Normal?

Hi...I need some advice as my patience are really wearing thin!

I ordered a new Malibu on 1/26/08. Received a TPW of 2/18/08. On 2/20/08 my dealer informed me that my event code had been update to 4200 (shipped). It is now 3/5/08 and I've heard nothing. I'm been crazy enough to drive by every morning (they said it could come at night) and it's yet to arrive. What's the typical timeframe? I'm only in CT!!

your dealership/salesperson should be able to call the gm's dealer business center, if they aren't to lazy <with the order number or vin> and if nothing else be able to get an update on the shipping status. normal time from build date is approx 2 weeks unless you really want it bad, should be there soon, good luck

I know the feeling! Seems like it should have been delivered by now. Call the dealer and get on their case to check for you. That's the least they can do.

Re: Is this Normal?

Sounds normal to me. It should be there any day. I think the fact that is has already been built and shipped is impressive. Just sit back and relax, your like a kid waiting by the mail box for his mail order x-ray goggles.

Congrats on the new Malibu, I would be exicited as well.

Dont worry to much, it will still be much faster than what it took for me to get my new car.
