I was wondering this too. While G6 shopping again yesterday, I asked my friend/salesperson extraordinaire. She said it definitely picked up a bit "but doesn't fix everything" in regards to trucks and SUV's in particular. Lots of people with them coming in especially now with the 0% choice but then are steamed to learn the real trade values of what they want to ditch.

Curious to see what other dealers have seen. 0% always seems to get stragglers to finally come in and sign, and I really wondered if the "72 hour" mantra mentally forced that more or not.

Re: June Sales.

People are having a hard time understanding their ginourmous truck is not worth much right now... Boy do they get mad when you're $3-4,000 under book value.

I'm 7 out. 4 VUE's and 3 Aura.

Re: June Sales.

I have been seeing lots of frustration with truck and SUV trade ins. The sale of Cobalts are doing very well. We are next store to a Honda dealer who will not budge off of list for the Civic. We get the people who want to save a few grand on a Cobalt and get 0%.

No Astras? Are the lease deals on them still hurting sales the most, as well as not a lot of people know about it, or is it something else?

Are the sales of Outlooks decreasing from fuel crunch?

Re: June Sales.

The 0 for 72 will rescue June sales numbers and they won't look 1/2 as bad as they really are... It will take until the 3rd quarter when GM will announce that they lost money on every car sold this month and the share price drops into the 9's.

Stop the presses! The turnaround has begun... we are back trading in the 12's
Never mind back in the 10's, 9's, 8's, 7's, 6's, 5's, 4's, 3's $2's, 1.70 Anyone Surprised?

Re: June Sales.

Slow here until today! (Saturday) Not sure if it'll save the month just yet, but the day is only half over. Both sides (GM/Toyota) has the showrooms packed. Of course everyone is wanting the gas sipping vehicles of which we are or are nearly sold out of. But we've moved a few Silverado's and even a GMC Canyon! *OMG*
