Question GM PEP vehicle with zero records?

Hello all,
I tagged a PEP vehicle today for purchase. There is no info on the current mileage of the vehicle. I do have the VIN number, and i ran a VIN check at carfax. It says there are zero records for the PEP vehicle. Any idea how that could be?
Usually a vehicle with zero records is one sitting on a dealers lot and is brand new. I hope i am not buying a crash test vehicle...

Re: GM PEP vehicle with zero records?

Thanks for the reply Randiglio . I already have a vehicle tagged from the gmfamilyfirst website, after reading through the rules and regulations. I just dont know why this particular vehicle has zero records when i check the VIN at Carfax... other company owned vehicles (PEP) that i see on the list, have a record with Carfax.

Maybe this PEP car isn't in service yet?

Re: GM PEP vehicle with zero records?

Thats a possibility, although it is weird that the car is out of the PEP program, and estimated availability is 1 month from now... well i guess i dont need to worry about it as much. If it is a new car, im not complaining ...thanks for your message duSpinnst
