February 2008 - How are sales?

Past the mid-point, time to take the pulse of the sellers. Looking at industry data, Feb is usually a pretty good step up from January levels.

Have at it.

Re: February 2008 - How are sales?

Drove past a few dealerships the other day. Not much happening.
On a happier note, I drove past a honda dealership and saw maybe 20 accords just sitting on the lot. None sold. Nobody interested.

Re: February 2008 - How are sales?

On average, we do about 100 deals a month. Even December & January. So far, maybe 25...30 if we're lucky. BTW, I'm representin' Mazda.

Which dealership? My mom is trading her car in this month or the next on something new (no particular car in mind). Wouldn't mind sending her to somebody from this site. We're in Metro Detroit. Let me know...

That is bass ackwards. A salesperson that knows you personally and has dealt with you before is much more likely to give you a good deal.

I seriously doubt that you sold car sucessfully for 32 years by screwing over your customers like you say.

Troll alert.
