There isn't any Vibe GT's available for PEP 2 pricing.
'06 Trailblazer SS daily driver (on order)
'99 TA Firehawk (Toy)
How about any manual Vibe or HHR?
Is this program gone?
Got a new e-mail today! The GM PEP 2 pricing for employee/family/retiree
members has been extended thru 7/31/09.
Also PEP 3 pricing (the largest discount avail.) is offered on all new Aveos.
The GM PEP pricing is lower than the GMS employee/retiree/family price.
WHY?
Because these vehicles have miles on them and are used by various GM division employees for evaluation/perks/special events/etc.
Some of these vehicles are from closed dealers at this time.
The pricing works 0-3000 miles PEP 1, 3000-6000 miles PEP 2, over 6000 miles PEP 3 pricings (The exact amount off below)
But these cars are sold as MSO-NEW to GM employee/retiree/family members minus all rebates and incentives in effect at the time of sale.
GM Company-Owned Vehicle Pricing
The Vehicle Tagging System allows participants the opportunity to purchase or lease vehicles that have been driven as part of the GM Product Evaluation Program (PEP). These vehicles are available at a discount price below the GM employee discount (GMS) price.
The selected GM company-owned vehicle discount is 4.5%, 7.5% or 11.0% off the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price, depending on the mileage on the vehicle. Employees can subtract the PEP discount from the GMS price.
NOTE: GM blue collar employee/retirees cannot sponsor a non-
family member to get these PEP2 pricing deals. Only a GM
white collar BOSS employee (if I am reading the rules correctly)
can sponsor a non-family member for the PEP2 purchase deal.
The only deal a blue collar employee/retiree can give/sponsor
to a non-family member is the "GM supplier for friends" deal.
(Which sucks because it is just the GM supplier price aka GMU
and almost anybody off the street can get with a bit of
wheelin' and dealin' anyhoo !)
If they are not sold to a employee/retiree/family member then they are sent off to the GM or other vehicle auction and sold as used .
You have to remember that this PEP price deal is ONLY for GM
employee/retiree/family members (OR ANY PERSON WHEN SPONSORED BY A
gm WHITE COLLAR/BOSS) and the only info. and details on this are
on a closed employee site GMfamilyfirst.
Sorry I can't post the details from the GM employee site as the info. can't be copy/pasted to other sites for some reason.
I figure it is disabled somehow.
Heres a link with a pricing example:

Yeah. I'm reading through them although it doesn't appear that non family members can be gifted a code for this promotion. But for my own entertainment, would someone be kind enough to price out a G8 GT with this offer?

There are no G8's left. Or any Pontiac's for that matter for the PEP2 New offer. I don't know where they all went for sure after 6/30 but I would suspect that a fleet got them cheap.
However, Aura's are available in any color you choose. Aveo's are a good deal also at PEP 3. You can roll in a new aveo for under 10 grand but you are going to sweat.
$29,338.38 is the G8 GMS price. Options are about 5% off. There is an additional $500 on the hood for GMS deals, $4500 total incentives in addition to that.
