Coincidence? I Doubt It

GM has severe money problems and all of a sudden the warranty submission site where the dealer gets reimbursed for warranty work goes down every day for a week.

Gm-global-connect is very troublesome...

I know I had severe troubles getting key codes for a stranded customer, thankfully I was able to look up the sales deal to see the key code was on the sales invoice and I was able to get the key cut!

We ran into that too, Sonoma.

Customer Assistance couldn't even get the key codes.

I have the most trouble when changes are announced to the incentive programs. The Incentive management function is screwed up for half the day.

Re: Coincidence? I Doubt It

my my my....all this money and trouble for this new gm global connect business and still it shuts down while i'm trying to do an incentive lookup. i'm so glad to see that GM has their own best interests at heart!!
i also love how they provide their onstar people and zone reps with freaking denalis and escalades to drive. sure, some are hybrid, i'm sure those things are getting 30-40 mpg...so what if gm is wasting gas money, they have an image to uphold!
wouldn't they think to try and save some money they'd just let these folks use a malibu or something like that?

That's because every dealer is trying to make sense of the new rebates because you have 9 programs on 1 unit and this one wont work with those 2 but will if you do this. Hey GM give me $6500 on a Tahoe thats it no dealer cash, bonus cash, loyalty cash, conquest cash, lease turn in,oh by the way the lease is not compatible with the bonus cash and dont even start about the GMAC rates with rebates.
