Car buying question

so the guy Ive used- has always been good. He gave me the lowest price. everytime. no nonsense. out the door price.
Were going to buy a car this week- and while sister decided on what colors inside/outside she wants- Since the exact car hasnt been picked- were not sure of the price- but I believe its going to be 100 or 300 below invoice- as the guy we talked to said our guy told him were repeat customers and to treat us good.
We can use supplier discount code as I just got one.
My question is this...
theyve always been good-
Can supplier discount be 'that good' ...so much so that it would be lower than his price.
Id hate to walk in and say- OK I want my discount... heres my code. only to find its a couple hundred in difference.
I dont want to be one of those guys that gets on the salesmens nerves and haggles over the last cent.
I mean if its a hundred dollars or so is it worth it to break that good relationship we have?
Or is this supplier discount going to mean several thousand off?
does my question make sense?

Supplier price is 1% above invoice I believe. So if the salesman is offering you below invoice pricing don't even mention the supplier discount.

Let him know you are a supplier up front. You don't have to use it but he will let you know which way is better. It depends on the car as to which way is better. As a sales rep I would not mind Supplier myself. I do not think the salesman will be worried because it probably will not affect his pay much.
