Isn't Caddy doing a 'Buy a DTS, get a free Aveo' similar to the free Yugo giveaways in the 80's?

That would be a GREAT deal! You'd LOVE the AVEO!

Re: Any New Incentives??

Rebates and such are close to the same as last month for Chevy. They now have an additional $2000 bonus cash offer on all models of Silverado 1500/2500 with a price effective date older than 9/1/07. It also applies to Avalanches.

That translated to around 70 trucks for our store.

For clarification, is that trucks with a build date before 9/1/2007 or after?

7.75% in Tuscaloosa, AL. on an 08 2500HD Silverado Crew. It might be different in your area. The mileage affects the residual and not the rate.

For clarification above, the 9/1 date is the price effective date and that is after the build date. It is usually within a day or so of the invoice date.

Re: Any New Incentives??

I just got an 08 Silvy ext cab 4x4 LT 1 today with $4400 in rebates and lease return. Sign and drive was advertised at $249/mo. With tax grand total was $270/ 39 months. Plus $125 for new plate and document. I gotta say I left there with a smile on my face!!

Thanks for the reply.. Same rate here, matter of fact seems to be the same rate that GMAC has had over the last few months.. I was hoping that since rates had been lowered over 1.5% in the last 2 months that there would be a drop in the lease rates...

Re: Any New Incentives??

That's a great deal on that truck. The MSRP according to Chevy is $30,960. I am interested in leasing as well. I am an employee and went to the gmfamilyfirst website to check the lease price on a Tahoe LTZ which lists at $52,660. According to the site, the 36 month lease is $648 which sounds just a little bit off to me. Is this accurate and does it make a big difference going out to 39 months or 48 months?

Any input is appreciated.

Hey pinch, what were all the rebates? I just picked up this weeks Detroit Auto Scene, and it appears the dealers don't even know!?

"NEW PROGRAMS JUST ANNOUNCED, call for details......"

If you could itemize what you got, that would be great! Thanks! Sounds like a "deal" congrats!

I know the rebates vary by area, but at least a starting point....

Re: Any New Incentives??

Ed - i'm in NW Pa. I returned a lease, that gave me $2000, and got $2400 cause it was old inventory. I also got them to go almost $5000 off the sticker. Not a ton of help, but I can get the paperwork for it later on tomorrow and go through it and PM you the info.

Ed - I'm out of town so I'll try to give you what I can remember. Truck is an 08. I returned a lease. That gave me $2000, they also deducted $2400 cause it is old inventory. I also got them to give me almost $5000 off the sticker. The advertised price for the lease was $249. With taxes and the rest of the bs my payment is $265/mo. Had to go for 36 months, can return lease at 33 months.
