Re: Volt Revealed!

Prius on steroids. If this is the future of automobiles... Chevy would've had a hit with the aggressive angular pre-production model we'd seen so much of. Even as a Silverado owner, I was looking toward the Volt. Now, not so much. Count me out. Guess GM's only concerned with selling to some hippies!

I've got a Silverado too and my view is the opposite of yours. I dind' tlike the concept. And though this Volt's looks are not ground-breaking, I think they're better off being more "normal" looking. Not just for the sake of aerodynamics.

Re: Volt Revealed!

Now that's an amazing car I love everything the car has from the wheels to everything this is a really futuristic car I just hope they won't be so expensive so that we can se a lot of them on the streets, I mean it won't be worth it to create an electric car that won't contaminate and sell it at an expensive price. No one would buy it right?

Re: Volt Revealed!

With the tax credit I've heard in the $35,000 to $38,000 for an electric car that (theoreticlly) can be driven 40 miles a day for 100,000 miles without a single drop of Gas at about 30 to 80 cents a day per charge. I'm already there!

False...the engine is design to periodically run itself at set interval during it lifetime from what I have heard.
