“From my personal point of view, this is an unprecedented activity in the GM Tech Center. It’s unbelievable and unthinkable that any type of violence like this could take place in such a placid and beautiful place as the GM Tech Center,” he said. “And I might add that if I were to go in the front of my office, I could almost have viewed this attack taking place. … This is not a violent area. This is a peaceful, placid area of the city and it’s just something that’s unthinkable until it happens.”
He will be fired. "Such outrageous behavior threatens us all!" the mayor thundered. "We will not have such dangerous people in our lovely town of Warren! Off with his head!"
Pretty typical for Warren. Not many shootings in that town but people stab each other like crazy.
An Uber driver was telling me about a guy in south Warren who heard loud music next door, walked over, let himself in (door was unlocked), and started stabbing the homeowner. He then quietly left after stabbing the guy and went home.
The question is, is cutting also a Warren Tradition? Or just stabbing? There is quite a difference.
I've had lots of "I'm gonna cut you!" threats, but not one stabbing threat. Guess I've never been to Warren.
Fwiw
Best defence against a knife attack if you dont have any weapon is to run..lol..which isnt always possible..so
Knowing whats the best way to defend yourself in any situation should be something everyone should learn..
All those martial artists advice on some fancy grapling the knife moves and disarming the atacker is total fantasy thats guaranteed to get you killed.. https://youtu.be/3zUI9NgBRTw
Since Its not possible for everone to carry a gun at all times or most of us even at any time,,next best thing is a knife
And even small one can be used quite efectively for protection if you know how to use it..
This vid has the best advice yet on how to do just that
A buddy who spent his days at the Ford metal model makers shop doing government jobs made me a nice one years ago. All iron. Handle about a foot long, about a foot of chain, the business end was a chamfered iron cube with about 1/2" nail points welded on at various places. Wicked.
In WI, knives are no longer considered weapons (even switchblades) and blades of any length can be carried anywhere. (just passed) I wonder if anyone makes a back sheath for a sling blade so I can carry it on my back?
So should we start placing odds on if he will be working on GM grounds or not?
