Apparently no. And, I believe, someone in the know said the scoop can't be opened either, the hood latch is located directly behind it. supposedly.

Don't worry, there will be more aftermarket parts for this car (including hoods) than anyone is going to know what to do with...

I keep trying to figure out what LS8 power will be though?? Is it going to be around 550hp like LSA, but not have as much refinement tuning or something? If it power the next Z06, it has to have a good bit more than 505hp to account for the added charging weight compared to LS7. Not to mention it will do in the current cars balance.

I hope they keep any stripes confined to the hood, roof, & decklid. Or maybe along the lower edge of the door/fenders. These somehow don't look right. Wish they would offer the 5.3 for those of us who really don't need 400+ h.p. It would probably be cheaper than the 3.6 and almost as efficient.

Actually, now that I think of it, there is very good reason why he didn't take credit.......not wanting to get him/herself in trouble nor and of his/her friends. Keep tuned now...I've been told there are plenty more!

More Camaro video here.

I may be the only one who wants to see Camaro in cursive or a Badge on the C-Pillar. I think it would like tight.

Re: SPIED: 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS?

More and more I am liking this car (as if there was any doubt?). I would imagine, you could have any stripe arrangement you want or don't want. There will be plenty of aftermarket opportunities to fulfill anyone's desires.

Having said that (tongue firmly implanted in my cheek here), are those the final headlights!??????????:fall :

Re: SPIED: 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS?

if the LS-8 is to go into the next Z06 will it have dry sump? I dont see them putting a motor in there without dry-sump considering it has it right now. Also I feel that the LS-7 is just a better choice for the z06, i mean its supposed to be like the C6-R which uses a 7.0l not a supercharged motor. I mean the LS7 is the Z06, i think they will just keep it, no matter how much it costs to build. If i were to get one i would want the 7.0l

C-Pillar badging, not a bad idea. Cursive script for the 'Camaro', no thanks. I want a modern clean-line font like what was on the concept (or even the 4th Gens). Not a frilly old-fashioned script...
