The last car West Coast rap legend Tupac Shakur ever bought-- a totally luxxed up 1996 H1 Hummer-- is about to cross the auction block.
RR Auction, which specializes in auctioning off items with a pop-culture or historical angle, will be handing the sale.*The online-only bidding will run from May 12 to 19 as part of their*“Marvels of Modern Music” auction.
Since 1996 the H1 hasn't covered much ground, the clock reading a lean 10,101 miles--*Tupac purchased his Hummer just one month before the bullets came on the evening of September 7th 1996 in Las Vegas.
The jet-black four-door hardtop H1 was equipped with off-road wheels and tires, **** Cepek off-road lights, brush-guard, diamond plate bumpers, 12,000-pound winch, 360-degree spot light and an external PA system with three sirens.
Inside, the first-gen Hummer is trimmed in burl wood and beige leather, with a 12-disc clarion sound system and Sony GPS. Motivation comes from a 6.5L V8 turbodiesel coupled to an automatic gearbox.
Kelly Blue Book values the 1996 Hummer H1 at $45,000-- but RR expects to get at least $100,000 for Tupac's H1 because of the provenance and proximity to his last days.
...because we all know you knew him personally. *rolls eyes* This individual was only a fraction of his lyrics (just like many music artists). He didn't necessarily live his lyrics, they gave him "street cred". If you've ever heard him speak he was quite intelligent.
Now go find the nearest empty stadium and have every single seat in it, please. SMH
Michael, I would respectfully submit that every headline that reads "SO Cadillac is Mad at Us" or "SO Tupac's Hummer's is for Sale" could simply read "Cadillac is mad at us" "Tupac's Hummer is For Sale."
What purpose does "So" really serve? Do headlines sound all millennial-y if you put "So" first?
I hate all the SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO. Take an English class, IT'S NOT AN APPROPRIATE USE OF THE WORD SO. GRAMMATICALLY CORRECT, but in poor taste.
Cool. Intresting, where is the bmw 7 he was shot in...
