    There has never been a camaro with this level of performance.... and the SS and even SS 1LE are relatively affordable, and are amazing performance machines at their price point

    If in your heart, you desire a V8, they seem unaffordable. However, the V6 version of the Camaro would beat most of the V8 Camaros of the past. It is hard to compare yesterday to today.

    1SS Coupe Automatic, 455hp/455tq, under $40,000.

    ZL1 Coupe Automatic, 650hp/650tq, under $66,000.

    Nobody is buying them so stripped, but they are available at what are credible prices.

    Even a Camaro 4 banger will destroy a lot of cars that are supposed to be performance vehicles, some BMWs and Others such as Lexus F models come to mind.
