Just think about this...

From the following thread:

GM Powertrain Unveils 3.6-Liter VVT Engine With Direct Injection

I know this article states that the power of the 3.6L tops out at 267 - but that was prior to the final numbers for the Lambda CUVs. Now we know the 3.6L in the Lambda produces 275 HP / 251 torque - so add 15% to that with DI and we are taling about a serious V6 in terms of power.

Using the articles 15% increase in HP and the 8% increase in torque and we are talking about an engine that could top out at 316.25 HP and 271.08 in torque.

If the next CTS gets anywhere near this level of power from the 3.6L VVT DOHC V6 -then Cadillac will really be tops in its class. I can't wait!!!!

It was supposed to be 9:40am EST on Monday the 8th but some are saying it will be available at midnight tonight.
