Re: Released 2008 CTS picture with Lutz & Welburne

Wow, that is really aggressive. It appears Lutz learned the lesson of the STS... toning down Cadillacs is a bad idea.

It's hard to believe they managed to make the current CTS look bland, but they've done it.

Re: Released 2008 CTS picture with Lutz & Welburne

The rear-end car was across the room from the CTS on 60 Minutes. Not the same model, not the same car. I too think this was a peek further into the future than the '08 CTS.

To be fair to the current CTS, none of the art and science cars photograph nearly as well as they look "in the metal." This goes double for the XLR. But yes, the car we've been shown today leaves the first CTS in the dirt.

Not sure I'm personally a fan, but there you are. Looks a bit DTS or even downright odd/ugly IMO.

Currently pondering whether this will sell more than 3 units in Europe...don't think it will.
Do you like any Cadillacs?

Here's a better idea of what it might look like in the front...

Wow! That's about as in-your-face as a mid sized sedan gets. I'm glad to see A&S is alive and well. If executed correctly, it will continue to be what sets Cadillac apart from the pack.

And any Europe that doesn't snap these up for style reasons is a weird Europe indeed. Don't make me have to go a-posting some Citroens in here!

More bling than a Benz.

Exactly what Cadillac needs to be.

AAAGGGHHH! Two Bobs? What's with this world?!? J/K

Still. This is a great car. If it's built on the Sigma platform, and if Sigma underpins the new Camaro, imagine what the Camaro's interior would look like compared to this. Cadillac has a home run with this new CTS.

Nice job. I can't wait to see the entire car. This is going to make the STS and SRX exterior detailing look like crap. If this is the level of detail Cadillac is putting into their cheapest vehicle - what can we expect from the upper end models in the future? Cadillac is back!!!

Now to get the specs on this baby. Oh - I want one so bad.

The front is not as flat as what Sal posted, but it's a nice hint. I like it. Let's have ten Bobs!
