It will be mine... oh yes, it will be mine... but in Lemans Blue.

Unless GM can figure out a way to offer the G8 ST GXP.

At least there is one way I can get a new Camaro without a B-pillar!

Like i said before. Truly, the sign of a good convertible is when it looks great with the top up or down.
This one is a slam dunk.

I had a Gen 2 Camaro, and although I loved the car, I made the mistake of riding in the back seat once on a 4 hour trip. Ouch ! Not made for adult passengers ! But who cares ? It still looks great.

I'm starting to agree that they've blown the Camaro launch. They revealed it far too long before they're getting it on the road. It does have kind of an old news feel to it now. Maybe they had to reveal it to gauge the true interest level.

Maybe it'll just blow everyone away when they see it in the flesh. It was impressive at the auto shows.

Remember they are playing catch up to the Challenger and Stang.....the longer photo show time was likely meant to give pony car buyers some pause before they went to a Dodge dealer, knowing that an attractive Camaro was only a few months behind.

Everyone needs to keep this in mind.
For the most part the general public doesnt know or remember GM is bringing these to market, all this media coverage and fanfare is for us, the people that frequent the car sites and enthusiests.

So true. I was really worried the top would have even a tiny bit of slack in it but I have to admit I'm pleasantly surprised. That top looks tighter than spandex on a fat guy!

Re: Production Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Revealed!

That my friends, is one beautiful car. GM needs to get this car on the road NOW! The Camaro introduction has been way too long!

I think some of our members have been mindreading. They've been picking up the review from a future CR, where they are determined to find something wrong (limited side visibility) with the Camaro. Now that we know, we will be prepared, thanks guy's.

I've had 7 ragtops in my lifetime and I love them. There is nothing like an open top with the wind blowing in your hair. Then again, since my hair is a lot thinner, I probably won't get another ragtop.

Well at least at night GM’s awful antenna design and placement disease won’t be evident…but I guess the RC antenna will make Tyco’s job easier.

Please tell me they will get rid of it before it goes on sale? They need to integrate it and hide it in the body like they did with the Corvette Convertible.

Re: Production Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Revealed!

Impressive styling with roof up and down, but I'll be waiting for the drive. Any test of a convertable is how well it handles the lack of solid roof. Hopefully no scuttle shake in this one and it handles like the hardtop should. I'm sure Holden will nail this one
