Re: Production Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Revealed!
Very nice.
Although that is going to be one nasty blind spot with the top up. The major reason that I sold my '98 Trans Am convertible was the blind spot. Here in the Pittsburgh area, you'll spend much of the year with the top up. The blind spot made lane changes and tight angle merges from on ramps rather an adventure at times, even after 3.5 years behind the wheel. It really took a lot of fun out of owning the car. Still, it could be a contender for me.

Re: Production Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Revealed!
Oooooooh man, that is FANTASTIC. I love it. Loveitloveitloveit. Headlights look great, looks awesome with the top up and down.
Has anyone else noticed the grill? The concepts had grilles similar to what we see here, but the mule seen running around have a split two bar grille. Is it possible the V6's will have one grille and the V8's will have another? Or was the split bar like the headlights, something to just throw us off?

Re: Production Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Revealed!
It looks good....I guess....but after looking at it (Camaro concept) for so many years now, I am thinking it already needs a refresh, even before it is launched.

Re: Camaro Convertible Revealed!!!!
well if you ever decide to buy a new camaro just head on down to autozone and get some cheezy fog lights and bolt them in place of those head lights cause thats exactly what gm did

Re: Production Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Revealed!
With the top up this thing (dare I say it) looks better than the coupe. And with the top down, this will be the best-looking 'vert on the market. I would really like to know how much chassis stiffness it will lose compared to the coupe. Headlights look good but still wish the hide-aways were optional.

Re: Production Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Revealed!
I really think GM have outdone themselves this time, both the Coupe and the Convertable look fantastic. It's easy to get the top up look of a soft top wrong, thankfully there is no such issue here.
If these pics show the production headlamps (which I'm tipping they do) then these are brilliant also. Sadly blindspots are a fact of life with a vert, fingers crossed GM has a blind spot detection system in the pipeline, much like the Volvo/Honda systems to alleviate the problem. Hopefully the plan do bring this car to Australia still stands, however considering there are no other Chev models sold here I won't hold my breath but with no new Monaro planned I'd be stoked to get my grubby mits on one of these. Maybe a Coupe but I could easily be swayed into a drop top now I think. Of course the problem remains, GM has shown off some pre-production pics, now how long are they going to make us wait before they hit showrooms? Another twelve to eighteen month wait would be unbearable. Of course some of you say the car will be due for a refresh before it lands, but I get the feeling that once you start seeing them in the flesh it will be a whole different story and the love affair can start anew!

Re: Production Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Revealed!
What I don't understand is why they are releasing the Convertible a year after the coupe? It looks ready to go.
