It's been a busy end-of-the-week here at GMI. We had the news break of GM possibly cutting another division, among many other hot news items that broke throughout the last few days. Well, if you are wanting something to do on your Sunday we may have something for you! You do realize 95% of the news content from the auto industry is based on rumors right? The only "hard facts" in this business are those that GM releases in Press Releases. Maybe you should stick to the PR if you want your "hard facts."

Plus GM always releases the "hard facts" two or three years ahead of time!

Yeah! I bet we will see a Press Release from them tomorrow regarding their consideration of cutting another division and axing the H3 program!

Well my question would be why sit on speculation until Tuesday when we all can speculate today? Some of us like to come here for news not the opinions of some of the members.

We're not here to please one demographic of reader. My apologies for that.

I'm not going to rush a story with new information in it to press without confirming it with other sources first. That is piss-poor journalism.

True. We are all car guys and girls, but this is a "GM site." You can always put competitor info in another section (to keep a pulse on the industry/ competitors), but GM should be showcased first and foremost.

I think GM is showcased first and foremost, but we are all car nuts and if we have breaking news about other makes and models, I think its perfectly fine to post it here.
