Re: More China-Market LaCrosse Pictures (HUD, Nav, the works!)

The interior is better than any Buick I've ever seen.
The exterior on the other hand is straight up nasty.

Still looks like a 500/Montego to me. The grilles are the same shape (with Buick's being bigger), the fog lights are the same shape and in the same position (with the Buick's being bigger), the head lights are the same shape, they both have a small chrome strip underneath the headlights on the front bumper cover, they both have horizontal strips going through the lower air intake, and even their wheels are striklingly similar (although the Ford has 8 spokes while the Buick has 9). Anybody that doesn't think these two cars look similar is dilusional. The interior looks nice though- much better than the US Lacrosse.

This car is awesome. I mean, come on, what does the LaCrosse have that's better? Anyone? Bueller?

Oh yeah, those headlights are dead ringers with the cheapie halogen thing on the Ford. Details? Bah!

Fiero GT, were you ever one of those Fiero owners who had a Fiero kit car that looked "just like a Lambo"?

Somehow the Lexus head lights don't match the Altima-styled G6-shaped rear lights.
Still no telescoping steering wheel?
I don't see the big deal with this thing. The interior looks somewhat luxurious, but then Cadillac is supposed to be GM's luxury brand in the US.

Oh yeah, well the American LaCrosse received a new paint color and upholstery pattern for 2007! It's all good. Beyod precision. Wouldn't you really rather have an American LaCrosse?

In the second pic from the top you can clearly see the + and an indented shift gate, hence +/-. The other one with the "M" is odd, to be sure. Maybe it means "Low" and not Manual like here.

Why can't the U.S. have something like this?

Re: More China-Market LaCrosse Pictures (HUD, Nav, the works!)

The only thing that borders on tacky in the photos is the "BUICK" above the rear vents, but it could just be the shine from the flash. Everything else is gorgeous...! Good find, Samkung!

I also like the HUD. It was a cool feature on my 2000 Bonneville SSEi (though it looks better now, new generation I guess), and people still get a kick out of it when they sit in my car.

Looks a lot like the Sable/500/tuarus from the front, Nissan Altima type tail lights too. The interior looks like a DTS and Camry meshed together. I feel old just looking at pictures of this car.

Re: More China-Market LaCrosse Pictures (HUD, Nav, the works!)

Ming, please re-read my post. I stated the SHAPE of the headlights are the same. Yes, the Buick's projector beams look better. But if you look at the shape of almost everything on the front end of the Buick, it is a blatant rip-off of the Five Hundred. Period.

All this proves is something we already know. GM, be in GMNA or elsewhere, can design and build quality products that would appeal to the market. Now as to why GMNA doesnt get them, we may never know.
