More China-Market LaCrosse Pictures (HUD, Nav, the works!)

The Chinese LaCrosse in All its Glory
Will this sheetmetal & Interior grace the U.S. W-body?
Newly discovered photos of the current China-Market Buick LaCrosse, with details that far exceed a simple grainy spy shot or fake-looking PR photos. Still think it looks like a Mercury Sable? Get your eyes checked HERE!

Keep in mind, this is STILL A W-BODY...and is getting a BAS hybrid for 2008...!

Same rear console as the new Park Avenue...

All the pictures are from http://photo.auto.sina.com.cn/showpic.html?od=0&pid=645&classid=519&page

That thing would compete really well with the Lexus ES here in North America. Too bad it isn't here....

it cost around 209,800RMB - 329800RMB in china, so according to today's exhange rate, which equate to $27,416-$42,098

BTW the base model is 2.4L and the top model will be 3.0V6

Re: Found some new pictures of chinese buick lacrosse

It has an M on the shifter as if it has a manual shift for the automatic, but where do you actually shift it manually. This would be a really nice replacement for the LaCrosse, though the chances of seeing "this" car here are slim, the next gen US and Chinese Regal which will replace both them is supposed to be a the same in both countries.

The call it a LaCrosse but it does have a Regal badge on it.

It could be on the wheel. or it could be on a side to side motion on the shifter. Or there could be small paddles behind the wheel. If they use old 9-5 parts bin, the paddles were behind the wheel and not readily visible.... and a far better position than the buttons on top of the wheel like they are now.

Re: Found some new pictures of chinese buick lacrosse

All these threads do is piss me off, it's ridiculous! For the hell of it, GM should bring these over and see what happens. People cant bitch and moan about Buick being mediocre by it's own fault...these cars are stunning and GM deserves to have Buick N/A go under for starving it and giving us the crappy "Super" Buicks when the Chinese Buicks are what we want and need. Is GM seriously that concerned about these Buicks making Cadillac look bad? Does it ever occur to them that not everyone wants A&S...not everyone wants a luxury car thats trying so hard to be European?

Bring these cars over you fools!

The Chinese LaCrosse is ugly. But it definitely has the interior features and quality US vehicles (and really all US GM vehicles) should have.

The Chinese certainly get what they pay for, as do we.

No, this is a nice-looking car which does NOT look like a Sable or Taurus or whatever... but, for me, it's starting to be a little dated. I hope that GM will bring out the Epsilon II NG LaCrosse, which evidently will be called "Regal," ASAP.
