In regards to Chevy Traverse not being at this show:
Unbelievable!! What is taking so long for it's launch? It's basically the same as the Acadia, Outlook, and Enclave, so what's the secret? Why can't they unveil at least photos? There are photos of vehicles not coming till 2010, so why can't we see the Traverse? According to Consumer Guide, they say it should be on sale by first quarter 2008. I don't see that happening with no reveal yet. Anybody know any further details? Last edited by 04bonnie : 11-15-2007 at 10:03 AM. Reason: added a couple sentances |

Re: LA Has Started!
That's good news! I can understand actual production being delayed, but there's test vehicles out there with camo on them, that could be cleaned up for the show. It's not like they don't exist, and it shouldn't be that much of a secret, since the others are out already. I just want some photos. I'm still about a year away from purchase, but am really narrowing it down. At this time, the Acadia wins, because Saturn doesn't dicker on the price, and doesn't allow GM credit card points (for the card I have). So, the GMC will be it, unless the Chevy looks great, and is much cheaper.

Re: LA Has Started!
Silver is such a dreary, depressing colour. Definitely the worst they could have chose for an auto show where they are trying to attract attention.

Also, silver is the best color when showing off a model's exterior details. Darker colors hide details, white hides highlights. Silver is the best color for showing off a car. That said, my last 2 cars have been silver, and a white one before that. My new Camaro in 2009 will be silver or white also. Silver = Modern, Clean and Upscale

Re: LA Has Started!
Is that a new concept or the one they showed in China?

Re: LA Has Started!
I went to the show on Sunday afternoon. Nice experience. One of my favorite cars was the new CTS which I sat in and looked over for a while. My only complaint about the show overall, other than the typical abyss that is LA traffic to get to it, was that there were WAAAAAY too many damn kids. Puts a real damper on enthusiasts when you sit in something like a Porsche and then some snot-nosed kid gets in on the passenger side and starts jumping around not knowing what the hell they're doing. They should have some sort of adults-only thing, if they don't have arrangements already, because Disneyland is a little further south last time I checked.
