Re: GMI's Revitalization in Action | The Dream Saturn Lineup
Looks great. Is there going to be a convertible version of the Astra? It would be nice to have a 4-seater convertible in the line-up.

Re: GMI's Revitalization in Action | The Dream Saturn Lineup
I like the Switch, something like that really would be needed in the Saturn line up to go up against the Ridgeline.
A couple of suggestions... What about a Zafira like mini-mini van? I really would have added an Aura coupe to the line up to go agains the Accord coupe, especially if the G6 goes RWD as planned, there would be a void in GM FWD coupe stable. How about a next gen Relay to round up the line, even though GM's mini-van plans are uncertain, I dont believe that they are totally dead, there is room in the market for at least a Chevrolet and Saturn version. How about something Zeta based? Maybe a flagship sedan? The nice thing about Saturn is they could have a flagship sedan that would not steal sales from other GM cars as the majority of shoppers would not regularly be interested in say a Zeta Buick or Zeta Pontiac. |

Re: GMI's Revitalization in Action | The Dream Saturn Lineup
What source are these photos coming from? Is GM releasing these, or are they some automagazine's drawings from what they've seen in spy photos? Anyway, they must be from the designers from GM, there is NO way any ordinary person can create those with just photo shop, NO way at all. That being said, there are great designs coming, it appears, and I can't wait to see these Saturns in production form. Good job Saturn!!!

Re: GMI's Revitalization in Action | The Dream Saturn Lineup
I love it, all the vehicles are amazing. Especially what they did with the Aura, all those features, extremely powerful engine options, and AWD. If they make it like that then I will have to buy one, the RL of course. I only wish they moved the XM/Nav antenna to the back but that is no big deal.
The Switch, its a great vehicle with great features and it should be produced. But I think the Switch would make more sense as a Chevy/GMC model. I am curious about the Sky, they say retractable hardtop does that mean a power retractable hard top? Since it needs a power retractable hardtop badly. The small vehicles also are amazing from all the tech options, diesel options, and AWD options. Again all the vehicles are amazing and if Saturn goes in this direction they will pull in new customers from imports left and right. I dreamed about Saturn evolving into this, please GM don't disappoint. ![]()

The interior of the Aura looks like push button hell.

WOW!!!!!!
Saturn has one bright future for sure. They will be selling 'rings' around the competition, nyuck-nyuck! Seriously hot though, and those interiors are....just wow. Nice job NSAP. |

Re: GMI's Revitalization in Action | The Dream Saturn Lineup
Kudos for the design work. It's kind of nice to see that mostly the exteriors are evolutionary steps of what's on the market are what's anticipated. That's a compliment to GM styling on the current products, oh which Saturn has an increasingly fresh-looking stable thanks to Opel's solid design language.
A Lamdba-based truck is a neat idea. I would like to see less Ridgeline's out there, but I don't see so many that I would think Saturn needs to field a product like this. I think the Avalanche is a great play against the Ridgeline, though it is bigger in every respect. Everything else is great. The Sky better stay around for a next generation. I would hate to see a sold-out car not receive the evolution its chief rival (the MX-5 Miata) has. Kappa is paying off at least as an advertising scheme as much as a product. Overall, great job. Very fun to digest! Just sort out the use of "it's" and "its." |

thanks though its a cool comment. the exterior designs and images were done 100% in photoshop, nothing else (as in the other RIA line ups) no spy pix were used or anything
