Re: GMI's Revitalization in Action | The Dream Chevrolet Lineup

1. Beat
2.Chevelle
3.Cobalt

Only three! Products I would buy from Chevy, if made.Cobalt might do better in Saturn or Pontiac's lineup. Also would like to see Pontiac get a Scion Tc.

Most uninspiring design: Chevy Cobat. Can we please get rid of the Cavalier like C-pillar. IMO this should be a clean sheet design with absolutely no reference to the past..

Taking a good thing and making it better design: The Malibu. Talk about a nice looking interior.

Best nameplate idea: Chevy Caprice. You're absolutely right. Take that name and slap it on any FWD replacement for the Impala. Basically make it into stretched Malibu IMO.

Best overall design: Chevy Impala. That is a home run. The interior and exterior look fantastic. Nicely done. Outstanding.
If Chevy makes a cobalt that looks remotely similar to this, I think it will be a huge success. Its agressive without being over-the-top. I don't really like the Impala, but I don't like the 300 either. I agree 100% on the BelAir/Nomad. Wow! To me the most uninspiring would be the Caprice. Its meant to compete with the Taurus/Azera/Avalon. Those are boring cars(appliances) for 40-60 year olds and this will be too. I think its a great idea to finally have an Avalon competitor. GM should be attacking Toyota on every front.

Great job to the RIA team.

Re: GMI's Revitalization in Action | The Dream Chevrolet Lineup

I could have easily imagined myself getting behind the wheel of the Cobalt coupe. For some crazy reason today, where some people were seeing Cavalier, I was seeing Corvair.

For whatever reason, I get the Caprice better than I do the Impala concepts. If you asked me which car was for a fairly conservative buyer, I'd have pointed out the Impala.

Opps sorry, I failed to read the bottom I was to excited about telling you guys what a great job y'all had done. This is coming from a guy that has been saying I wouldn't buy another GM vehicle for a long time but I think y'all have won me back with putting such a big emphasis on quality vehicles lately and now the designs are top notch and appears theres some emphasis on performance and technology in the future ahead. Every reason I left and now every reason why I'll go back. Its good to know our American companies are fighting back.

I absolutely love it! The Mailbu looks a little long at the back, but other then that, has much more sharper styling the the current one. The Impala looks a little unfinished on the front end, but other then that, I love it. I'd take a Volt, and a Cobalt, Nomad, and I really like that Caprice. The Vette looks great, but the Mailbu gauges are AWESOME along with the rest of the interior.
Give me a next gen Nox and a Volt and I'm good. Can't wait to see the second half. Great job guys!

It's in there. I saw it. No changes, the RIA guys had nothing to change with it.

The Team did an outstanding job. Pat yourselves on the back.

If I get a chance, I'll comment more later, but the current insanity around here doesn't give me time enough for more than one comment.

The hood on the BelAir/Nomad is too plain or is missing something.

That's it!

GM should pay attention!

I've always said that "styling sells". GM's cars have been too conservative and plain for some time. These concepts would sell!

Man, these are just bad Photochops. Nothing original here. I appreciate the effort, but ...

Now, if you had some airbrushed drawings of some original stuff, instead of 'Frankensteins', then I'd be impressed.

Most of these "photochops" have significant sheetmetal airbrushed. I'm not sure where you are getting the "frankenstein" comment from

Love the Chevelle’s back seat windows but is there enough room for them to roll down? Now that would be cool.

Re: GMI's Revitalization in Action | The Dream Chevrolet Lineup

Very good work! I love the Beat, Cobalt, Caprice, 'Vette, and the Volt. The rest I'm not too sure about, my least favorites are the Nomad/belAir, and the Impala. I think the Impala needs more substance, more muscle, smaller headlights...

The Malibu is great except for the roofline. The trunk is a bit too long, and I think you guys had a great opportunity to create a more coupe like roofline.
