Re: GMI's Revitalization in Action | The Dream Chevrolet Lineup
I agree!! It looks soo much better than what the Camaro will look like. I guess its cause we've been waiting forever for the Camaro and this Chevelle nose is new while the Camaro nose looks dated already.

Re: GMI's Revitalization in Action | The Dream Chevrolet Lineup
So is Chevy actually considering bring the Chevelle back in this coupe form? If so, couldn't Pontiac do the same for the GTO and still have the Firebird as Chevy has the Camaro? It might be very be cost effective to have these 4 models on the same platform while allowing customers have a choice of 4 great cars from the past.

Re: GMI's Revitalization in Action | The Dream Chevrolet Lineup
For the next one might want to add the upcoming G8 ST ute (known as the Commodore ute in Aussieland) and the Commodore wagon (whatever they decide to call it in the Pontiac line up) to your RIA for Pontiac

This website needs to get back to giving us facts. This stuff is not "inside news"...

Re: GMI's Revitalization in Action | The Dream Chevrolet Lineup
Three comment;
1. The Chevelle is AMAZING! Good example that small cars DON'T need to look like boxes. 2. The Impala is EXTREMELY dated and ugly anyway. 3. Don't mess with the Nomad. It was one of the MOST perfect show cars I ever saw. NEEDS to be built as shown! And I thought this before I actually saw it at a show. After, I liked it twice as much. |

Re: GMI's Revitalization in Action | The Dream Chevrolet Lineup
We should all thank the Revitalization Team (RT) for it's efforts on this project! Sometimes we get a little to picky (including me) and we forget all the work that goes into the project.
While the Impala concept is a little rough, I like the concept roofline. GM needs to develop a style of it's own and a refinement of the RT Impala roofline could be a winner. The current Impala is not so bad, in fact it's selling well and is a big improvement over the last version. One of my freinds has an Impala SS and he's extremely happy with it. It's been trouble free and always gets complements for it's good looks. Is it dated? mechanically yes, but we all know that a new Impala is somewhere around the corner. |

Re: GMI's Revitalization in Action | The Dream Chevrolet Lineup
BRAVO! If that were chevys lineup today I wouldn't know what to buy! Great job. Everything looks cool, edgy - but not in a cadillac way (keeps the two distinct design wise), retro - but in a good way. There is a commonality to them, meaning they all look like chevys. I could nit pick some things, but overall very impressive.
