That's a lineup to dream of. Buick should be paying attention!

WOW!! Guys, those are ALL beautiful. I wish GM would listen to you. I would love to see a FULL LINEUP that people want, not one car or a few- but everything from eco-car to Corvette. GM- don't worry about losing the number 1 spot..... but build better vehicles and sucess will follow

Buick should be building these now! You know 2010 will become 2012 much too easily at GM. The posts about the lines being done by the ToyoNissan groups before then are much too true.

Re: GMI Feature: Revitalization in Action; The Dream Buick Lineup

The concepts look great. Seems like a great outline of a plan, though only question is would it possibly be too many models? BPG has a lot of potential if GM can make it work right, and keep each brand focused on different market segments for each car, aka Buick = Luxury, Pontiac = Performance and GMC = Professional Grade Trucks

Very impressive photoshopping. Naive timing. I get a kick out of how much credit Zeta gets on this site.

Zeta: the holy grail of GMI! It is our savior - it's almost better as an abstract concept, because once it becomes a concrete reality in the flesh, there will be much weeping and lamenting - i.e. "It's too big, too small, too heavy, not flexible enough, hood's too short, not enough overhang to be 'classic.'"

The only thing worse than an unheard prayer is an answered one. Hahaha.

The Lacrosse looks a lot like the original concept back in 2000.

Remember?

the Lacrosse Concept was amazing, and I think would fit perfectly in the Buick line up today.

finally people that understand buicks mission, heritage and styling cues!!!!- id make the lacrosse, not such an enclave copy- make it look exactly like the concept lacrosse we were promised - for one of the coupes- id have to base its styling as a heavy retro 64 riviera- my personal favorite - and a hardtop vert a la the buick blackhawk concept or the efijy-

OK, they are all ugly. Especially the "Grand Sport Wildcat" could you possibly rip any more from a 60's Corvette?

Prime reasons that Buick needs to go bye bye. Thank God these are not real GM designs.

I'm glad you mentioned it. They quote all these pictures then add something like "Lookin' good!" It was annoying on page one, then one page two it was just unacceptable.

People can offer four word replies without copying images that are only a few posts above their words 'o wisdom.

It really is fun and engaging, though I think even the authors of this know that it has 2 essential flaws.

1. Waaay too many models. What we know about the B/P/GMC realignment says that Buick and Pontiac should have roughly half as many models in the future to avoid stepping on eachother. They've got five now, so even three would be pushing it - consider all of GM's brand's - eight of them - could they ever sell 48 (6x8) different models? Narrow it down to "Lacrosse" (knowing what it means in Canada, why was that the only contemporary name you kept?) and Wildcat.

2. This is a double edged sword - I really love how you are trying to move Buick many rungs up the ladder, but the prices here seem more appropriate for Cadillac. The cheapest Buick is about as much as the most expensive one now. Dealers would have a coniption fit.

Actually though, by nixing the Enclave, Gran Sport and Roadmaster sedan, and cranking all the prices down about $5000, these two problems would be eliminated. You'd be left with a Lacrosse, Wildcat and Riviera.

I suppose I can understand a "Wildcat" model - even though it's among the least known names. Actually "Roadmaster," "Limited," "Special" and "Century" go all the way back to the 1930s, while Wildcat was limited to the Bucket seat craze of '60s. Also, why call two completely different cars the same name? You've got two 2 doors and yet no Riviera? Is is it too late to change the Roadmaster 2 door name to Riviera?

I'm looking forward to seeing the other lineups. I think as this goes on, you'll see that three cars per brand is more than enough.

Overall, an impressive effort. Why not issue some kind of press release, or try to frame this as a quasi 'net news' story about GM's rabid defenders coming to it's aid?
Hmm, I like that. Could you explain?
