Whoa. Put RWD on everything and call it a decade.

OK, they've decided to treat the catatonic state.
Now let's treat the utteretardmoron alphanumeric wannaBMW non-nomenclature.

RWD will work for me!! That is the main reason why police can not choose a modern vehicle!

Re: GMI Exclusive: Pontiac Shakeup

A wise move by GM to move Pontiac back to the performance division. The only feasable way that makes sense is RWD. We can look forward to no more torque steer issues going forward with RWD and V8 engines.

I'll say it again, the G4, G6 etc. names need to go away up front.
The idiots who came up with this brain dead naming convention also need to go. They should be forced to live in a Pontiac 6000 for the rest of their lives.

Hey, I think I'd drive a nice 6000 STE without too much complaint.

Me too! I missed them the first time around, I'd love to get one now. Although the Grand Prix GXP makes a pretty sound argument for an STE replacement...

Forget being the 'performance division', be the PIRATE division! Arrgh! Take no prisoners!!!

If this happens by 2009, there WILL be another Pontiac in my garage again. (Sorry Maxx)

Re: GMI Exclusive: Pontiac Shakeup

Other than the lack of comfirmed data, that is really good news. I was wondering when Pontiac was going to expand use of the Kappa platform, and replace the G6. So if all goes well and holds to expectations, then Pontiac will be revived as a true performance division.

It's impossible to confirm information when GM themselves have not made up their mind on what to do.

Re: GMI Exclusive: Pontiac Shakeup

I dont know for sure if we are switching to RWD yet or ever , but in our meeting at Orion today we are getting a version of the Malibu which is FWD......well, specifically we are going to be a "flex" plant for the new bu' so basically we will be ready for overflow production........
