Only 1 was another GM vehicle and it was a 247k mile 1992 Bonneville. The other brands were Toyota, Ford, Dodge, Chrysler, and Hyundai.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with providing MORE choice for the consumer, nor do I see anything wrong with taking sales from the G6. More choices, means more opportunities to take sales from Toyota.

Most happy about the new sales and the 57% conquest rate on trades. 63% of our sales so far were new entrants in the market without a car to trade in.
Looks like the actual "Conquest Rate" is only 14%...oh well, gotta start somewhere. Still looks like an uphill battle to me to get people out of their Camrys and Accords.

I can see the business case for all these variants as CAFE rises. If you have a winner, keep running it.

The Accord coupe is the first Japanese car I've found looks good enough to consider buying. The rear end of the Altima coupe just looks strange to me. I much prefer the angular lines of the Accord.

That Malibu coupe looks nice though. I hate 4 doors, so for me go buy, it has to have a coupe model.

For the record, I did not do any of these. They are from an old contest.

Can you get to Syracuse, NY or Upstate NY? They will usually work with you.

I love the looks of the convertible. If Pontiac goes RWD, then the Malibu coupe and convertible can fill the gaps.

Acura and "gangbuster" sales??? What planet are you on...The brand is basically dead. It hasn't grown...Noty horrible, but definitely not mass appeal by any means.

BTW, the HHR is only one part of the American mosaic in culture and car design. Can't say the same for the plain vanilla, designed-by-committee Japanese cars (actually designed in Japan, not California)...Imagine if the whole world drove Camrys...Yikes! What a sad world that would be style-wise...

I seen an Accord Sedan in black, and I am in love. In my book, Honda is #2 only to GM, and its only the technology that is offered in the Accord, and the reasonably good looks that keep me interested.
