There are a lot of people who like collectable special editions. Seeing that only 650 will be made for that model year.

It's as fitting as the anniversary itself. Who cares about the 65th anniversary? Celebrating a car anniversary every five years is kind of pointless - a gimmick. Every 25 or 50 years are the important anniversaries (unless the vehicle dies off). So it's fitting for the significance of the anniversary.

And what's with the "AF"? Was that necessary?

WTF are they supposed to do for a 65th anniversary? Looks good to me. 65 is pretty insignificant as far as anniversary's go anyways.

Where are the other 4 Special Decal Packages? I mean Edition Packages.

The 25th was something, even 40 years ago.

I know right....the quality of this site sure has taken a turn. With other sites popping up, it kind of dilutes the conversation. I long for the old days of GMI

A sucker is born every minute.

Too bad Caddy doesn't go after available discretionary income targeting those with too much cash and longing to be fleeced.

There might well be powerful N/A American V8's in generic Caddys for those that don't want to bend old bones into the seat of a Vette.

    But NO.

If they can get the money for it, more power to them. Personally, I'd be embarrassed to admit I payed an extra $15K for that BS.

GM- kings of the "stickers and stitches" special editions

    Whatevs
There seem to be 3 standard union responses to any criticism of the UAW:

    1) You're just jealous
    2) If the unions go away, the middle class will disappear
    3) If the unions go away, everyone will become a company slave

    None of them are true.

Re: Corvette Carbon is Lame AF

Corvette celebrates every 10 years as of the last 27 years. 40th, 50th, and 60th. This whole Carbon 65 isn't really a full anniversary edition car, hence its low numbers (650 of them). The regular anniversary cars are built on larger runs.

BTW...this place died with NSAP's departure and the AutoGuide takeover. I'm somehow still appealed to this place, but after the rather Jalopnik style trashy headline...

The real headline should be GMI lame AF.
