R those real/normal headlights on the convertible, i liked the lights on the coupe but these look more like real production headlights.

Ha you noticed those, too? I remember when they all had "GM" embossed on the button.

Ah ha, now I see what you mean.

I love the exterior with the top down. I love the black and white interior. I hope this translates 100% into production, especially that interior. I really hope GM does not cheese out on the interior.

Re: Chevy Camaro Convertible Concept Rolls Into Detroit Early

This car is ridiculously good looking as a drop top. I would have thought that it was a convertible first. The font used inside and out is excellent, very modern. I like the touches inside, but I really highly doubt that interior is anything close to production. I really like the sound of an AFM LS2, but Isn't the LS2 gone after 2008 with the LS3 taking its place?

I love it. the stripes really make the car. they look alot better than those skinny close together mustang stripes

Re: Chevy Camaro Convertible Concept Rolls Into Detroit Early

I love the Camaro, I really do. But it sure loses a lot of it's style with the ragtop. Interior looks very good and just retro enough.

Anyone notice how the front end looks just like Lightning McQueen from Disney's Cars?

Yup, still purely still concept .. it is 12 months after the original concept, and the interior is not an iota closer to production ...

That is my biggest dissapointment with this concept ... no wonder they will take untill 2009 to start building it ...

Y'all know I give GM credit where it's due .. but this should have been a preview of the production vehicle, and the production should have started in early 2008 not in 2009.

And people here say Ford is too slow - at least their 2005 concept will be in production mid 2008.

Igor
What did you expect? For GM to show the production car now and let its competitors know exactly what’s coming?
