Re: OFFICIAL pics of the Camaro Convertible Concept car!!

Ooh. I like that!

Aside from the quite surprising choice of orange and black stripes, it looks genuinely good. If GM keep that cabin with that style and that quality it will be superb - it doesn't look half as bad as most convertibles either. I'm guessing this is even closer to production than the Camaro concept was?

Just change the colour though guv.

Re: OFFICIAL pics of the Camaro Convertible Concept car!!

Wow I love it. Lots of retro touches in the interior, it looks great.

The only nitpick I have is I hope the production speedometer has a bit more detail to it. Increments of 25 mph up to 175 mph is a bit too coarse.

Except for the entire center console, wheels and speedo, I could see GM making this a reality. Very nice indeed.

Re: Chevy Camaro Convertible Concept Rolls Into Detroit Early

I do not KNOW how to convince my wife we NEED a Camaro

Its just too goood!! Look at that stiching baebie!!!

I think the interior is production ready. I do not expect too much deviation from this in production....

It's one sweet midlife Crisis car

I want one so bad. That this is awesome. It's even the right color!!!, change those black stripes to some gun metal gray ones, and presto!!

Simply stunning. Sign me up GM, I'll trade the current Z in on it when it comes out.

I agree. I'm glad the Mark of Excellence belts have stayed as well from the coupe.

I e-mailed Bob Lutz back in May and petitioned to him to bring back the GM Mark of Excellence belts in the production car and other production cars, and he e-mailed me back saying he liked the idea and proceeded to carbon-copy my e-mail to Ed Welburn. I am glad it seems they are sticking with it.

that thing is sweet; not a fan of the racing stripe, but the convertible is gorgeous!
