Chevy Camaro Convertible Concept Rolls Into Detroit Early
 High Rez Shot HERE Camaro Gallery: Autoblog Source: Camaro Concept Rolls into Detroit Early We'll save you the story on how this particular embargo was broken, but we have confirmation from GM that they won't hold it against us if we post this information and the accompanying high-resolution gallery, especially considering the car is already on the cover of this month's issue of Winding Road (albeit badly photoshopped into a strange pinkish hue) and Automotive News just let 'er rip, as well. That said, the Camaro Convertible Concept you see here will officially be unveiled Saturday night at a star-studded occassion called the GM Style Event where the automaker's product will share a runway with A-, B- and C-list celebs. The Camaro drop-top will be wearing this lovely Hugger Orange pearl tri-coat paint job to the show and sport a pair of dark gray racing stripes as striking accessories. No doubt when the convertible arrives in dealerships shortly after the debut of the coupe there will be more colors available in its closet.

Its still basically the concept interior.
I doube the production version will keep this interior. Any ideas into how far this interior will make it to production?

It does look more production ready. But it really isn't. Maybe because the top is off it gives us that perception. And it's gorgeous!

That is my biggest dissapointment with this concept ... no wonder they will take untill 2009 to start building it ... Y'all know I give GM credit where it's due .. but this should have been a preview of the production vehicle, and the production should have started in early 2008 not in 2009. And people here say Ford is too slow - at least their 2005 concept will be in production mid 2008. Igor

That car looks absolutely amazing. I think they should come with an interior that looks just like that. I cant imagine how much on the price tag that interior would add though. They need to make the production exterior look almost exactly like that except a little larger mirrors and smaller rims for practical reasons

I like the big, beefy metal seat belt buckles. It hearkens back to the days when the cars were made out of steel not fiberglass/aluminum.
