when does it come out again?

I'm actually hoping to see a 4cyl version. Especially that new ecotec 2.3 with 200+ HP and 30 MPG.

Re: 2010 Camaro to be unveiled via the web on July 21 @ 4pm!

If GM was smart (which, half the time they're not - no offense to the Rick and Bob fan club), they'd launch the new Camaro as a 2009 model, and the convertible as a 2010.

It is about time that it got revealed.

And no, don't say that the Japanese companies don't pull a stunt like this - Toyota's Venza is still not available to the public yet, despite being revealed in January.

Just be patient. You'll all get your muscle car back. Don't worry.

Today I saw the new Dodge Challenger at a Dealer.
IMO GM is taking WAY TOO LONG to come out with this Camaro.
Typical GM..

Unveil it? Didn't they do that about 5 years ago with the concept?? I think I'll just wait until the pics get posted on here.

Re: 2010 Camaro to be unveiled via the web on July 21 @ 4pm!

Remember back in the 1950s and 1960s when new car unveilings were actually suspenseful and anticipated?

This "unveil" has all the suspense of a Charmin commercial.

Absolutely! Every model year had something to get excited about. Sometimes sheet metal changed annually.

Remember showrooms with paper covering their windows until the official 'unveiling' day? As a kid, I remember trying to peek in between the gaps in the paper, to catch a glimpse of a new design.

You're correct, Buick61 ... there isn't an ounce of anticipation. We all know what's coming.

Re: 2010 Camaro to be unveiled via the web on July 21 @ 4pm!

Yeah, yeah. We (Camaro aficianados) know and we've heard it already. "It's taking too long. We already know what it looks like. This all new car is already four years old. It looks too retro. It's the wrong car for GM at this point. Blah, blah, blah."

We get it.

However, there are lots of things that we don't know officially and have been subject to nothing but wild conjecture and silly rumors over the Interwebs for the last couple of years. Things like:

1. Engine options. How many 6 cylinder engine choices? How many V-8s? Will there be a 4 cylinder turbo?

2. Power ratings. Will the base 6 cylinder break the 300 hp barrier? Will the base V-8 break 425 hp? Will there be a 500 hp Ford GT500 fighter?

3. MPG ratings for the various engine choices.

4. Available transmission choices for each engine

5. Trim levels. Which is going to be the top dog, SS or Z28? Sure, there are lots of people with one opinion or another. Which is correct?

6. Color choices and stripe options.

7. Price ranges

Obviously all of the above questions may not be answered on Monday or Tuesday, but I expect that many of them will be. So, go ahead and gripe about the same list of things that everyone of you has already griped about dozens of time. I will be eagerly awaiting next week to get some FACTS about 2010 Camaro.
