The dollar is still approximately 20% higher against the yen than it was in 1995. So where's the beef?

Wow. Let me yank a data point completely out of context and use it for comparison. Compare the Dollar to the Euro. Compare the Dollar to the Pound. Compare the Dollar to the Loonie (Canadian Dollar). Its down significantly in every measure. Significantly.

$1,365.00 for a Bluetooth and XM upgrade. Ehh not bad considering that the American dollar is down compared to the Australian dollar.

And more importantly compare US Dollar to Aus Dollar. Right this instant your Dollar is worth 94 cents Australian and recently it has been above 96 cents.

Your currency is pretty crap about now.

I don't think GM is making much if anything on this car given the current FX rates with the weak US dollar. Production should be moved to North America if this car is going to be profitable long term.

The official currency in Australia is not the Yen.

The price is still awesome for such a great car. What other V-8 sedan besides the Chrysler twins is offered at such a price point?

What does that have to do with anything? The users over at g8board posted about this price increase over 2 weeks ago, not the owners. Has nothing to do with who owns the board.

Yen, welcome to the toilet bowl. No kidding the yen is down. Americans buying drives Japan's economy.

The point was WHO CARES who was first. Same corporate umbrella, which means ad revenue goes to the same people.

You have to post in the "Suggest a News Article" No one can start a topic in any news forum. That is pointed out in the sticky at the top of most forums.
