Holy mutha! What a find! Perfect, unmasked pics! I like the truck... looks tough, tougher than the SUVs. I hope there's a version without all that chrome... sees way too Ford. Still, I like what I see.

Re: 2008 Chevy Silverado Uncovered!

Well, I'm not the target audience so what do I know, but it looks like a restyling job of the current Silverado to me... Not as big a difference as we saw in the Tahoe from the exterior at least, and certainly nowhere near the Cheyenne concept. Not much to get excited about. Too many bumps and bulbous features on it, and the bed looks like it could have been designed in 1999 - it does kinda remind me of one of the Dodge pickups because of all of the flares and exaggerated lines.

In contrast, for those who forgot, the Cheyenne Concept:

Re: 2008 Chevy Silverado Uncovered!

Sorry to disagree, but I like it. I like that its distinct and tougher looking than the Tahoe/Suburban/Avalance.

The chrome on the bumber could go to body color to tone it down, but otherwise I like it.

I'll reserve judgement until I see the standard cab; I've never liked the modern crew cabs, and this one is no different.

Re: 2008 Chevy Silverado Uncovered!

looks a lot smaller w/o all that camo, i think i would have preffered the tahoe front end on it, those headlights just look weird, and the sides of the bed dont really match the edgy design of the rest of the truck.

Re: 2008 Chevy Silverado Uncovered!

I like it. It looks like they took the '99-'02 look of the Silverado and made a evolutionary design from that and not the current look of the Silverado. And hope that is just a bug in preproduction or they left the hood unlatched as there is a huge gap between the hood and the rest of the front end.
