If you ask me the Sierra should get next years truck of the year. The tundra is the ugliest truck ever created, besides the ridgeline.
Whereas the Sierra is gorgeous.

The Toyota won't be coming out till Febuary, so it wasn't in the running. Guess they missed the boat on that one.

This is intentional. Toyota knew they didn't have adequate powertrain options at launch so they delayed it. However, they are opting to call it an '07 to get around the revised 2008 EPA guidelines. So...will MotorTrend show their Bias and allow the 2007 Tundra to compete for the 2008 TOTY contest?

My money says yes.

Just an observation... Shouldn't it be possible to put the 2500HD and 3500 GMT900s in for the next year Truck of the Year award to go against the Tundra? I may like those odds.

The Two-Mode Sierra might--if they can get their act together.
It'll be much better than a plain 2007 Tundra anyway.

I think this will put more pressure on Ford ,because by this time next year Ford will hve the new F150 on sale, atleast Ford will have some advantage over Toyota because by the time the F150 comes they will now what to do to beat the Tundra on the HP and MPG war and on the looks and we will see of MT loves the **************** more than the domestic truck
