Post tranny probs.

i have a 3.4l v6 camaro the tranny went out on it (4L60E) i got a tranny from a 2002 firebird it a 4L60E also but the starter is on the wrong side on the bell housing is there any way to buy a bell housing to fit it.also the antitwist bar that bolts to the back of the tranny it wont fit because of it being newer than the other...so does any have any answers........

Your 3.4 has a GM-Metric (aka FWD) bellhousing.

I suspect you got a transmission from a v-8 car, yes?

Yes you can adapt the bellhousing, but not easily, and
the starter issue...

Sell the new trans and get yours rebuilt.
