Arrow Question regarding CAI for 05 GP GXP

I was told by a K&N tech that cold air intake kit 63-3059 will not work on an 05 GXP LS4 engine because the changes in MAS and ECU programming will make it incompatible compared to the 06-08's. I've heard other people say that it works with their 05 GXP. Cold Air Inductions has a box which uses the same K&N filter and they say their intake box works for the 05. Please let me know if you have any experience or know any further information regarding this concern. Thanks.

What makes it better? Do you have real life experience with both? Let us know.

I would go with what K&N says, the newer Bosch style MAF sensors are very sensitive and changes to the intake tube if not done right can end up losing you power.
