Tires, and you should beat him, but check on CobaltSS.net

If it was a SS/SC, you should be taking out chipped Civic Si/RSX-S stock.

The SS is not going to beat an Si stock for stock but the SS would be closer to the Si than the Si would be to the SS/SC.

Remember the "torque management" built into the PCM that was talked about with GM trucks? These cars have it as well. It can be disabled with HP Tuners and everyone that has done so says the car is much more responsive.

BTW, when you say chipped I'm assuming you mean tune since chips went out with OBDI.

Best time for SS Cobalt is a 15.2, but that's on a 2005, and I dont think it has the 4 sec delay that the newer models have. And I said chipped becuase I didnt feel like going into specifics, like Hondata.

The SS didn't arrive till 2006. 2005 had the SS/SC only.

Hondata at this point can only reflash the new Si as well.

the thing is with the civic dont they have to wait to get into v tec to get any power? the G5 the powers there. hit the gas and that car will go but does pull stronger at the higher rpms because of my vvt i would def like to race one.

Then go ahead and race one, at the track.
