Oil Prob. going up and down in my 454/496
Hello All,
Im trying to find a solution to my problem with my s10. I have a 454/496 in it. When i slow down and accel really hard for a while. My oil pressure drops. and most it drops to 0-5psi when i slow down hard. plus it flucuates between 20-50 normal steady driving. Ive been reading about AccuSump, anyone try this or know if this would do the truck? Or anything else to solve this problem.? Sometimes my cam/head starts ticking. Thanks Everyone! -Choko |

It sounds like your oil pick-up is getting uncovered. I'd look into any available pans that may correct the problem first.
