GTO + Mods = Fun!

I haven't posted in a while so quite a bit has changed. In the past four months my GTO has been under the knife on two occations. I couldn't be happier. In December I installed a set of Kooks 1 3/4" long tube headers and a GMM Rpishifter. Allan Futral of Futral Motorsports performed a street tune on her and all was good. I noticed an immediate power increase. However, as with any drug, I needed more. So last week I had Allan install one of his custom camshafts and an underdrive pulley. He then dyno tuned the car. The final numbers came to 383.16 rear wheel horsepower. My GTO sounds like a beast now. I just love the way she shakes her behind at idle. People defintely take notice of her now. I have an appointment with a Pedders dealer to have a suspension package installed in June. From there, I think I'll go with a new air intake manifold and a ported throttle body. Just thought I'd share...

Re: GTO + Mods = Fun!

Sounds like a fun combo! I wish I could start under the hood, but I'm going Pedders first.
