gm performance tbi manifold

has any one used this manifold to upgrade to vortec heads on a pre 96 k1500 truck ? i need to know where is a good source for chips (from gm?) to improve my drivability issues when cold and low speed cruise conditions.i have purchased a hi flow tbi kit from turbo city w/chip but the truck is rough running still and rough on fuel!also want to know if these heads are too much for the stock cam to handle .i think i may have a worn cam lobe as it is it just wasnt noticable w/original heads .

just a hunch, but try calling Allen @ www.nelsonperformance.com a try. I know he tunes mainly LS1 series engines for trucks and such, but he may be able to help you or direct you to someone who can.
