CAI for 3800 Series II W-body
Has anyone bought/installed one on their W-body? I'm thinking about putting one on the Monte Carlo (2000 SS w/3800 Series II N/A). Any opinions on these and if it's worth spending the money at all?

I made one and it seems to make my 3800 more responsive and a bit more powerful. It also made it a lot louder. Most of the kits look good, but I'd suggest one that has a smooth tube rather than the ones that simply connect a filter to the throttle body using crinkled flex tubing.

They sell them there. Were about 100 bucks. Or you can make one out of plastic or metal tubing. One guy made one, a custom plastic job that says "Toro" on it. haha It will definitely give the car a more throaty sound, and with a U-bend delete should be good for up to maybe 10 HP. The cone filter has at least 25% more surface area vs. the rectangular stock or K&N replacement. I might be interested in selling mine.
