8.1 avalanche transmission
i need some help, im looking to replace the trany on my 03 avalanche 2500, i have made many upgrades on the motor and am running around 500 hp ,next summer i hopeto be able to supercharge the 8.1, but i definitly am going to need a new transmission first as i find mine to be slipping already at about 110 km/h .... where and what should i be looking for? as well would i be able to get away from the 4spd and convert to maybe a 6, with a dual overdrive?
