2.4L Upgrades?

My '08 Malibu is an LT with the 2.4L four-banger for which I'm wondering if there are any upgrades?? Nothing serious, because that's not what I'm looking for, but relatively mild ones like an intake or exhaust system....if anyone could give me a push in the right direction it'd be most appreciated

Re: 2.4L Upgrades?

GM Performance Parts should have some upgrades, but I don't know how mild they would be.

This is for the pontiac G6 but it might work for a malibu. They are both the same platform and share identical powertrains.

I don't think so I looked around there myself out of boredom and couldn't find anything for the 2.4 liter (they do have alot of crate V8's though) usually the car needs to be around for at least a few years before any substantial upgrades are created but do try this website.

That does help there.....but will need to do some more research before committing to any mechanical mods.

Right now I'm thinking purely cosmetic.....some dark window tint and possible paintjob (either a sharp red or that copperish color I've seen on a few Sunfires around here).....(if it wasn't for those tire pressure sensors being so expensive, I'd throw on some chrome too!)
