Re: Video Review: Hummer H3 Down Under

Re: Video Review: Mighty Hummer H3 Down Under

I really like the H3.

Random, I was scrolling through the Drive.au car reviews and I checked out teh Statesmen, the guy kinda ripped the Statesmen a new one. And brought up a good point about the sun shades...details, its all about the details.

Re: Video Review: Mighty Hummer H3 Down Under

We really need to see video reviews of the H3 Alpha (the one with the V8!) AND the newly fixed H2.

Not even that. It just uses a modified GMT355 frame and some other Colorado parts. No shared interior or exterior means it is not a rebadge.

Yeah, seriously. The H3 is an example of GM doing something right! Sure, it was initially limited in the powertrain department, but it's a Hummer not a sportscar. The new V8 is a great addition to a product that's truly unique, global, and utilizes domestic capacity. It's like calling the XLR and Corvette rebadges.

Actually, the domestic factory in Shreveport, LA builds H3s for the North American market. The South African factory builds the ones for just about everywhere else, including those imported into Oz.

So I guess the FJ Cruiser is a rebadged Tacoma going by your explanation.

Love the Hummer H3! Pretty good review. Hummer rules when it comes to off-roading.
