Bad A$$!! i think if they bought it over only in a performance and 4wd trim with $27-34000 price tag and at least a 5000lbs tow rating it would be a good seller....

I doubt it,look @ most trucks these days and most people buy quad cabs or extended cabs. The time of the Elky has come and gone.

It might drive like a dream, and as an enthusiast that's really what I'm hoping for, but why does it have to look like it was designed by a CPA?

It is a pity that a "car" critic can't pronounce "Chevrolet"

Right. This could've been an SSR with a more reasonable price tag - also one that wasn't so heavy and such a bad handler.

Re: Video Review: HSV Maloo LS2 Ute

A pickup with full size car economy?

hmm, i wonder how many contractors in the US would love to get their hands on something that can get 25-30 mpg highway without being a hybrid of any sort?

And still over v6, v8, SS and more variants with plenty of accessories already available because they are used in Australia.

For those who criticize the look, there are many individuals and companies out there right now looking at the cost of gas and have little to no options on how to reduce their gas costs and still be able to service their customers.

Ha! You said panache! Do you work for Toyota or Lexus?

Re: Video Review: HSV Maloo LS2 Ute

They all cry for a Ute' like this to be sent to the States and if it were to make it out here... here comes all the criticism just like what the GTO had when it made it's way here... A GTO Ute'...?! Now that would be interesting... however, the enthusiasts wouild have died with that thought!!! Anyhow, that car/truck (Ute') is awesome... love it...
